Replace interior drain plug

So the drain plug between the engines was stuck. I might have cross threaded it. I tried to get it out with a pliars and broke the ear off on it. Does anyone know what size the hole is that it is mounted in? I'd like to replace it with a metal one or something that is easier to put in and take out without scraping up my arms every time I need to remove it.

I am about 2k miles from my boat, so can't measure from here (my guess: 7/8).

I might replace mine with these. They are a pain to get in/out and one of these might just be the ticket.

I ended up replacing my broken one with one of these - Amazon.com: Kayak Drain Plug Kit Thread Bung for Kayak Canoe Boat Set of 2 and 4 Screws: Sports & Outdoors

The base is a little small for the hole but I just used some silicone under it and it has a good seal. The threads on it are coarser so it seems to be easier to put in and take out. I would replace the other two at the front of the engine compartment but I have no idea how I would get out the horizontal one in that tight space.
