Replace old Connext with new Connext

Did a quick search but didn’t find anything. I am wondering if the newer Connext screens could be put into an older(2017) Connext boat. I am really wanting the integrated gps mapping system. I hate using my phone and don’t really want to add another Ram mount on the dash.

Boy, you'd have to change an awful lot. Totally different network. Mainah might know just how much would have to be done. It would be nice, because the newer systems use a standardized network; you could use different stereo head units I believe. The 2017 is proprietary Yamaha. Maybe the 21 is different, mine is a 240. The cost would probably be astronomical.

Yeah I figured cost is what would be one of MY biggest problems as anything can be done with enough time and money. But I am
usually lacking in the financial department.
