I don't know if this should be in the specific area for the SX230 or not, so please move it if it should. The table base on the swim platform of my boat is looking pretty bad. I took it off to give a good polish with a buffing wheel but I noticed that it is pitted a little on the edge, presumably from salt water? I'm thinking about just replacing it but does anyone know if it is a standard size (like Springfield Aluminum) or is it Yamaha specific?

It is a general Springfield product that Yamaha uses, not a unique to Yamaha product. I have bought a generic table leg from Springfield and it fits perfectly into the table mounts.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Springfield is actually based in my hometown but I'll have to go to a store to buy it.

Check their clearance/scratch 'n' dent section on their website, I bought my table leg from there saved a lot of money and the table leg only had one minor scratch.

Stopped by Springfield Aluminum this morning. At $10 each I decided to replace both so I would have nice clean ones in both places. I can't find a blemish on 0ne of them and the other will look worse as soon as a wake board slides across it. It just has a very small spot on it.

Here they are. The one on the left is obviously the original. You can tell where I tried the buffing wheel before I saw all of the pitting. I think maybe the blem on the middle one is down inside the hole for the post, you can see the bad spot in the casting. The one on the right I don't see anything on and it is whst they call a silver metallic finish.

Here is a link in case someone needs the part number in the future.

That is a great find @Woodchuck very useful for the floor mounted table base boats. Definitely need to add that to a FAQ or parts list. @Julian what do you think?

Added to the FAQ under parts #11

Great find @Woodchuck thanks for the write-up.
