Yup Tarpon Springs is the largest Greek community outside of Greece

If you end up needing a casual place to eat and want good BBQ, check out the Ozona Pig, http://theozonapig.com/index.html , it is about 7 miles south of Tarpon Springs.

I thought you lived in Ohio now ! LOL

I know there is lot of them there because Greek government moved the consulate from New Orleans to Tampa for that very reason.

Touche I technically have a house in Florida and will be back there every 2 weeks I still claim that I live there

Try Hellas. They have a bakery with lots of great sweets....and a restaurant with greek items.

My aunt said it was her favorite restaurant and it was close to her apartment. She ordered grilled cheese!

I had the orange glazed salmon and it was amazing. Easily the best meal I’ve had on the trip. The place is Greek diner-ish and all homemade. Wonderful and recommended for a casual bite to eat.

You know... they don't catch any Salmon 'round these parts....
I would have recommended some local caught fish. Snapper, Grouper, Hogfish, are some of my favorites !
