The reverse gates are off on my 2017 SX240. The boat was purchased brand new and apparently it has been an issue since new. The port gate and the starboard gate are off by 3/4" in neutral position. This is causing the boat to circle slightly and is making docking a bit more tricky than it should be.

Can someone let me know what the specs are and at what throttle position.

Thanks in advance

Can someone tell me where I might be able to look up this sort of information. There is no mention of specs in the owners manual.

Thanks

It would be helpful if you could take a few pictures of the clamshells and show us the position at full open. Generally you don't want any of it in the output stream.

Thanks, I will as soon as I can get it done.

That was great. It is exactly what I was looking for. I will try to get to it tomorrow and report back.

Thanks, again!
Weeb, can you tell me what the manual is that you are looking at. It looks helpful.

It’s a yamaha service manual for a 2017 ar240 but it should be the same.

Thanks, I will look for it :)

Thanks for the input from you guys, especially WEEB for the manual picture. The gates are as close to spec as I can get them now. Off to Greenwood Lake in NY shortly.
