Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
Never heard that happening, we even have members who throw it in reverse at 30mph to throw water over the bow with no ill effects (other than a wet interior)
@Cadillac68 sorry I just noticed you have a Scarab, I was speaking more towards Yamaha's but the few Scarab members we have also have not mentioned any issues, aren't those buckets also used on the seadoo pwc's ?? for a bigger sample size, you don't hear about them having a problem @ScarabMike
Yeah it's a scarab men...very frustrating as I had a mate who had a Seadoo many years ago and did 180's 360's the lot and never had an issue - that's why I bought this boat and I've had the bucket break off twice
