I am tuned in!

A little dress up when the wedge isn't on.

Holding my breath!

Are those 2 strips of Velcro?

Yep that is what holds the Ronix wedge on and how you can switch sides easily. You are supposed to evenly weight the boat with ballast.

Seems like a simple solution but $600 for it and a few Velcro straps?

The wedge itself is carbon fiber and the shims seem to be carbon fiber as well. Not sure if that is true thru the whole thing or not because it does have a little weight to it but I know it has to be strong. I don't think this will work by itself but we will see.

Looking forward to knowing the results when you test it out

Following.

Ok did testing and here are the results. Video to come later, might even have some pics.

Evenly ballasted only ronix wake surf shaper : seeing it try to do some thing but still major jet wash.

Evenly ballasted and add the Wake wedge : Made a great wave but required too many more bags on top of the seats to get ballast placement where I wanted it.

Ballasted up normal with a lean and Wake Wedge : Now we are talking!! Long pocket, and the Ronix added height and the little more length to the pocket.

The only thing that I haven't tried yet is ballasted over and only ronix wake shaper. I will try that next.

With the boat listed you are still able to get the Ronnix submerged on the non-surf side?

Sounds like he's using it on the "dipped" side.

Yep, I actually had the Ronix submerged too much when evenly weighted.

Help me understand. Wake Wedge on port side? Ronix on starboard? And how much weight/ where?

Wake Wedge on port side, Ronix on Starboard side, 1300 pounds under port seat, 750 on top of port seat, 800 in the locker, 400 under starboard seat = Great Wave!!

Also tested goofy: Wake Wedge Starboard side, Ronix Port side, 400 under starboard seat, 750 on top of starboard seat, 800 ski locker, 400 Swim deck= Insane Goofy Wave!!

I also did test the Ronix with ballast and a lean and turning, that did clean up the wake but it is a turn to surf thing. Not too amazing when you can surf straightline.
