Noticed on my 2019 212 Limited S that the black rubber trim which runs along the bottom of the windshield (it’s about 1” thick) is and inch or so too short and does not fill the track just before where the folding window meets the frame. Of course you can’t see this when the window is closed but I am wondering if this is by design or a factory defect?

Feedback would be much appreciated.

I see this was from 2020 with no replies. Did you ever come to a conclusion/ fix?

mine has the exact same issue. Spoke to the dealer service guy. He said the rubber seal/trim shrinks from the sun/heat and is fairly common. I have a screw stickingup in that corner spot and may try to put a small piece of black rubber on it as a filler.

Right, the strip shortens with time and heat. Replacement is the way to return it to original condition.
