How can I fun the eng while out of the water

Not sure for a Sugar Sand. I know in the Yamaha there is a port to which you can connect the hose to run the boat out of the water. Do you have anything that looks like it would fit a water hose either in the engine compartment or nearby (ours is in the boat between the back and the side seats)?

[USERGROUP=3]@Administrative[/USERGROUP] , do we have a Sugar Sands group to which we can move this?

Yes, the mercury sportjets all have a hose connection for running on the trailer. These engines are designed so that most of the water will drain out as well once you shut the water off. You should be able to find that connection near the engine.

Good luck,
