Posting this issue in hopes of someone smarter than me may be able to answer and help me out. I took the boat out a couple months ago in salt water, came back and flushed the motor and jet nozzles with salt terminator. However I got cheap and only flushed the trailer tires/wheels with regular hose water. A week later I see surface rust. Now I jacked up the trailer on stands to see how the tires rotate and the back ones both sides are not freely rotating. The front ones aren't showing rust and rotating freely but both back ones are sticky.
Question :- do I need to worry here or a little surface rust wont be an issue? The tires definitely aren't rotating freely. Is that a problem? I don't boat in salt often just once a month during season. Do I need to remove the wheels and brush this corrosion?? Anyone have this issue. This boat is 2018 so everything is b rand new.
Thanks in advance guys!
