Ryobi High Volume Inflator

I've got to one of these. Headed to Home Depot soon.

I'm curious how well this works, if it is a decent unit then I too will be heading to Home Depot to get one to add to my Ryobi tool collection.

Standing by for feedback on this... if this saves me from draining my boat batteries, it would be worth it

I'll be testing this on the water today. Will report back.

One thing I didn't notice until I unboxed. You can move nozzle to top port and use for deflation/suction.

Little thing is noisier than expected.

Are there DC (12v) chargers for power tool batteries? (for onboard charging that 18v inflator etc.)
I know - probably really stupid question - but I just don't know the answer...

That's awesome. I have a bunch of Ryobi tools and haven't had a problem with any of them. I'm definitely buying this.

Just got denied at my local Home Depot , they seem to carry the entire Ryobi line, except the high volume inflator.

Guess you'll have to have them ship it! There is a promo on their site right now for buy a tool get a battery free, but I can't make it work...only give you 10% off....I was only curious....if I was going to buy this, I'd call Homedepot and get someone to honor that before they "fix" the text! :-)

You need to buy the $99 Drill/Driver to get something free.

How fast is it? I might have to get a few ryobi tools for the river house even though I'm deeply invested in dewalt.

Denied again. Web site gives me two choices: 1. Pick it up at the store. 2. Have a local store ship it. None of my local stores have it.

3rd time is a charm. Just ordered one add amazon for $22 including shipping.

I just looked on Amazon and couldn't find any P738 models, all that came up was P737 high pressure low flow (tire inflator) for $22 and the combo unit P731 dual function (high and low flow) for $55.98. Could you share the amazon link for the unit you purchased?

Tried my inflator for first time today. Aired up my two man tube in about 2 minutes. Had to top off with manual pump to get the tube really firm.

I ordered the wrong one, got the tire inflator instead.

It's ok though, this will complete my set, I already have the dual function model (came in a kit) and just found this today. It is smaller than I thought it would be.

So you had to use a plug in 12v pump to firm it up? If so, it does not sound like I will get much use out of mine on the boat, Maybe at the camp site though.

I used the inflator to inflate my air matresses and 4 person tube while camping / boating this weekend.

It worked fine for the tube and one air mattress, the other had a wider fill valve than the inflator so it did not work as well on that one (had to create a seal between the two with my hands).

Still my wife and son like it. Later in the day my son and I were taking and when I left the beach for tubing run, the inflator made its way around between a few of the men, all in construction, they love it and plan to buy their own. "Dad for like 5 or 10 minutes after you left they were passing it around and talking about it".
