First off. Congrats on the new boat.
Secondarily, anyone know if that trailer wiring connection is standard on the galvanized trailers? My '17 has the wires routed through the swing and then out the side, and they "droop" excessively. Been considering adding a coiled connection like that.
the connection is standard, came on my 2019 SX190 Galvanized trailer alsoFirst off. Congrats on the new boat.

I use the coil I just loop the original wiring connection through the pin handle a few times.IIRC all new Yamaha boats come with the revised "coiled" trailer wiring. It's a nice touch.
I also notice the winch is slightly different too. Interesting.
Thanks everyone! Had it in the water twice and as I have seen a lot of posts.. it sure is different than my previous I/O’s. Have had some very frustrating moments with the docking and the loading on the trailer but it’s slowly coming together. I’m thinking trailer guides and possibly Cobra Jet Steering.
Use No Wake mode and get some trailer guides. That's really all you need. See this thread How I use No Wake Mode and TDE to retrieve my boat
I agree! went out with the dealer it seemed to be natural. I quickly purchased the ThrustVector XV and Lateral Thrusters and now the wife enjoys steering/docking just as much as I do! There are a lot of good videos out on you tube in reference of docking a Jet Boat. Check out docking your jet boat from CycleSprings on YouTube its one the better ones. Hope this helps my brother!
Yes...docking challenges. It was so easy when the dealer took me out.
I was looking into cobra or jet boat pilot. Do they have 2019s yet?
