Not sure if they'll budge but at least 10% off net. Then go after better rate (if borrowing), extended maintenance, better accessories, coast guard kit, full tank of gas and finally buoys, dock lines, spot light, hats, shirts and key fob. Good luck.

@255OPEN What options got you to $90.7k. With a ~10% discount that gets you to $81.6k

Curious how that 255 Open compares to a 242XE at $79k for $2,600, I would be hard pressed to NOT get the Scarab unless it's missing some amazing option package or something.

Basically everything but the shade cover and stereo upgrade . I am getting the dual 300 motors .

Just curious but did you end up getting the new Scarab and if so did the dealer move much off the internet price?

The move from the 250’s to the 300’s is a pretty large jump which means there should be more room there/discount.

I did not buy it i am waiting for the new Yamaha 255 , But they had a 2019 255 in stock all upgrades minus the hard top priced at 111k and they came down to 82k after negotiating , I really wanted the model i built online so i did not pull the trigger , They where not willing to come off any of a special order

Thanks....did the 2019 have the 300’s?

Disappointing they won’t budge off the special orders/online price, i was hoping they would......but that might take me out of the scarab camp when i start seriously shopping in the spring.

So you could by a leftover 2019 for $82k.......or a 2021 Yamaha with 500hp for $79k.....Scarab is going to be in trouble unless they re-align there pricing/packages.....

Yes the 19 had 300's - The Yamaha is sick i actually would prefer the Scarab based on looks but the Yamaha is feature rich over the Scarab for fishing

If so.....brilliant!

I’m not into fishing but that new 255 CC looks like a well laid-out hybrid.

Frankly the only reason I keep looking on the Scarab website is their 215/255 bow riders have a much better walkthru transom (until the new 250/252/255).......AND I would want the 500/600 HP options....but not if the cost is going to be $10k-$20k more than the comparable Yamaha......

If they can knock off over 20k on a in stock model they have some room in the Scarabs the price needs to come down, they may be forced to due to the Yamaha 255 release . The Yamaha uses TR1 motor and their is a ton of upgrades for that motor on the market none for the Roatx on Scarab that i have seen
