@ScarabMike Where are the Scarab dealers in the US? I went on their website but they don't list any dealers anywhere . I've seen a few of you guys with them but where are you buying them from?

Inquiring minds wanna know! [flag]

@ScarabMike Thanks a bunch! Scarab should look into updating their website to show all available US dealers because if there are none in your state it makes it look like there aren't any stateside since there is no "United States" option for country listings. With the Yamaha dealer being close to the GA line it looks like I might just take a long day and make the travel to check out Chaparral, Yamaha and Scarab all in the same day. Wished there was a demo day going on!

@ScarabMike Thanks for the offer! I haven't been on the Atlantic side of Florida since I was a kid going to Disney World :D. Usually we do Perdido, Pensacola, etc in late summer once most tourists are gone. But if I'm ever down that way and haven't tried out a Scarab yet I will be in touch :)

@ScarabMike we need a Scarab winterization checklist (I know its early summer, but I'm working on the FAQ and realized we don't have one).

Also, would you like FAQ write access so you can add your stuff to the FAQ? Ping me to set it up if you do!

Looking to get spare tire for trailer for the 195....anyone have that off hand...If not I will take measurements on lug spacing and post that along with tire size I have.

If you'll call Discount Tire on the telephone, you will more than likely find a tire and rim NEW shipped to you for less then you can buy it anywhere else. Good luck. Mikey

I bought my spare tire at a Wells Cargo trailer dealership. They had one in stock...

I see the bridge clearance with and without the tower posted for the 165. Does anyone have the same info, with and without tower, for the 195 and 215? I can't find it on the Scarab website or sales brochure.
I have several fixed bridges on the Middle River in Fort Lauderdale to get under. I'd like to buy a boat with a tower, but I need this info to make a informed decision.
Thanks in advance

With my 215 I would say anything under 7ft I would take the tower down. That's not exact by any means but close. It's not to bad to take the tower down once your used to the process.

Ok, so I ordered a 2016 Scarab 255 HO Impulse and it arrived at the dealer last night, I stopped to glance at it and noticed it has the "wake edition" style folding tower. Does anyone know if this is how they come now? I really don't like the look of that tower and I am not sure I should fuss over it if that is all they are putting on now. The web site shows the other tower on the impulses. Is there some benefit of the v shaped tower that makes it better than the normal arch shaped tower that I'm missing?

Thanks for any advice.

@Shane Scarab - That's interesting. The differences I see are 1) the tow point is further rearward on the Wake style tower, 2) The gunwale mounting location is further forward, and 3) It looks like the wake style might fold down lower for better bridge/garage clearance - that would be a major plus.
