Well finally got my Seadek put down. It looks great! I will admit I did do the removal of the hydro turf . I got very fortunate that all the pieces came up as a solid pieces! Kelly of Underfoot Marine did the actual install. He was very professional and a real stickler for getting the lines straight. I ordered the pieces for the boarding step in front of the windshield but the ones they sent do not have the provisions for the tower. Kelly told me what to do and he would get me taken care of. Still haven't decided on the small pieces that go on each side of the back of the boat. Taped up there to help me decide.IMG_0449.JPGIMG_0447.JPG IMG_0431.JPG

I didn't get one of the anchor locker but I will. It looks awesome! I will also get a couple of the pieces that they sent for in front of the windshield!

Seadek looks good!

Is that a Supra beside the boat? NICE!

Looks great...and also looks like a number of other projects on the back burner.

Looks great. For what it's worth, I have the side pieces on the the back that you are unsure of, and they are in a perfect spot to use as a step when boarding. I'm glad I installed mine.

@jcyamaharider yeah it's a 1994 turbo motor out with plans for a 700 hp daily driver! There is a 1995 RX7 next to that with hopes to convert it to an LS motor! But those take money so they are on the back burner for now!

@BlackandTan that is kinda how I am looking at it but the wife doesn't seem to like them. @buckbuck yeah several on the back burner. Wife tells me all the time I need to pick one thing and stick with it. Way too many toys! Could she possibly be right? I'm having a hard time grasping that. I mean everyone needs two bikes... one for the track and one for the road! A project car at all times and a boat to just relax in to take your mind away from all the things I "need" to get done!

Thanks for the compliments! I love it and have yet to really use it! I mentioned Kelly at Underfoot Marine. If you are local to NC. And I'm pretty sure he goes out past that. His number is 1-704-361-6784
The is local to Mooresville NC. I can't recommend him enough. He actually came to the house on a Saturday and put it down. Plus he said if there was any problems with it he would stand behind the install.

Jelouse, got my seadek Monday, have to wait till spring for the install!

Thanks for posting. I also got the top of the gunnels pieces that I plan on installing. Those are not for looks but I always find myself walking around to adjust ropes on the tower etc. and the cap/gelcoat gets really slippery with wet feet.

@swatski i stand up there a lot when I fish. If it wasn't for the wife they would go on no questions asked. But you know what they say... wife not happpy...

Looks AWESOME! Though the back two pieces taped down... meh. I wouldn't do them. Sort of sticks out from the rest of the design... but thats just my opinion.

Here are a few pics of mine with those pieces installed. Different color but you get the idea. You'll love it with or without those pieces!

@kindtampa yeah that's what my wife says. I'm still on the fence. I may leave them taped up there for a little while and see if it sinks in on me! Good thing is I have several months to decide if I want to take the tape off and make them stick on their own!

@BlackandTan I have the same boat. Now that you have the "shoulder" pads near your engine hinge, do you find people load using that area? I always back into my slips and find it difficult to get people to load onto the lower deck. They always step onto rear bench seat or swimdeck cushions. I don't like the look of these "shoulder" pads, but am thinking about adding them if it will help keep people from stepping on seats.

Somewhat, that was the intent, but to be honest I think most people still just step in on the seats. Most of my friends are good about taking their shoes off, so it's all good. I do find that I use them a lot though.
