The foam is pulling away from the back of both of our Captain seat's, anyone have this happen? What did you use to close the gap, some type of adhesive?

Ours is like that too, the shop we go to for winterizing said no adhesive would stay. If you have any answers please share!

Happens to many of them that get sun baked. 3M Spray adhesive works.

If that holds for a while, is the next step to replace the entire seat or can you reapply the adhesive? We wondered if liquid nails would work?

Thanks!

There's a clear as water contact cement that floor covering technicians use for vinyl and PVC goods that works well, has a very short dry time. I can't remember the name of the product but be careful it has a few seconds cure time, as soon as it touches both surfaces together there stuck. 3M spray won't hold and neither will the thick amber contact cement.

Thanks, we will give that a try!
