It's that time of year again. First day off, with a nice 84 degree day. Me n GF , decided to get the jet boat out. Unwrapping the winter crap, getting the battery ready, etc. It was hard starting, but, a little bit of starting fluid, it started. After the car wash, I tried start again (very, very sluggish ).
Forget this- drive to auto parts store, bought a new battery!!
Plus, filled fuel tank with fresh gas. It started. Not bad .
Off to boat ramp. Here we go.
Get the boat in the water:
1) Hard starting
2) Stalls
3) Sometimes (7x), started, hit the throttle, acted like it was going to be great, then stalked again after 3-5 seconds. Ugh!
Load it back on trailer. Wasted day.
A few people at the dock said- fuel pump primer bulb(?)
Any suggestions
Please help
