Sounds like it only fits on 2019 and newer?

I'm guessing the rear eye tie downs got moved last year with the newer, wider hull.

Were the AR models always called "Value Wake" ? Did they add integrated ballast to those?

Doubt it has ballast for 57 and change.
I do like the AR240 colors though.
Better than the boring 19my colors

They got rid of the VXR and just call it a gp1800r ho now. Funny. Thats all it really was before anyway.

A bit surprised to see even less new than last year.

I’ll be interested to learn more about their ballast. I’m intrigued by the two smaller bags as opposed to the one huge fatsac swim platform bag. Seems like that might hit a good spot for me since I already have integrated ballast in my 212x.

I'm a huge fan of the Blue AR240, could even take the Stickers off because the hull is actually blue!

but, with no real upgdates this year, I don't think I can justify not taking a left over 2019 price deal for it.

On the 19 foot boats you only need weight centered on the swim deck and either side is surfable, this is because its only a single engine with the jet in the center. I'm guessing they did two bags so it leaves the walk space open, and I doubt it will be enough ballast though.

the video on the 19s only shows a brief second of surfing without a rope.

WakeBooster Package same price as last year's except... no including Slingshot Coaster board now.

From Yamaha's website, I wonder which is accurate?

For 19-foot boats, the package includes the WakeBooster, a custom external ballast system, 5'3" Slingshot® wakesurf board and wakesurf rope.
For 21 and 24-foot boats, the package includes a custom, co-branded 5’3” Slingshot® wakesurf board and wakesurf rope.

Being that it was $999 last year with the board- I recall considering buying just the Wakebooster from my dealer and I think he offered me $200 off without the board, so $799. Ended up buying the whole package for $900.

Like us, most people have a surf board and didn’t necessarily need another one..

Ha, that would have been a good deal for the dealer. That’s easily a $500+ board.

That Slingshot Coaster maybe a different beast though.

Nevermind... those seem like the 155 lb Fatsacs. I’m guessing that it isn’t enough swim platform ballast, even when combined with the stock 212x ballast.
