Shift gate dropped

Hello. First post.
Yamaha 242 Ltd S 2016.

The starboard engine shit gate has dropped down and stays there even if I put into forward (see picture). Would anyone be able to help as what I need to do to fix this?
Anyone had the same problem?

It may be a simple fix. Here’s a few videos that explains how it all works. However, you may just need to start watching the first video at around 21:00 minutes into it, depending on your issue. Hopefully you just lost a couple bolts. It could also be the spring and ball joint came loose. If so, the second video at around the 5:30 mark explains that situation. Hope this helps.
