I have a shipping cover for my 2018 yamaha 242x e series that I was going to throw away, but figured I would see if anybody on here wants it for free. Not going to ship at the moment because it's too much hassle for me. I'm located in Hickory, NC.

Those are perfect for long haul towing due to fleece underside, not chaffing of gel coat.

If someone wants it. . I'll be going close to hickory on Sunday with my truck... I van stop and pick it up as long as @brokitansky doesn't mind and throw it in the back of my truck.. I'll be in a conference for that entire week but once I return I can figure out shipping. . Or just get it to someone local enough.

Do you have a photo of the boat with the shipping cover on? I've not seen a 2018 242X shipping cover. I'm trying to get my hands on the 2018 242 AR/Limited covers because they cover the entire boat with the tower down (would be perfect for winter).

If this would work for me, I'd take it in an instant for the cost of shipping and extra for your troubles.

@seanmclean , I have actually never seen the shipping cover on the boat because I got a mooring cover at the same time I bought the boat.

If it's the same as a '16 X, it goes around the tower. We put Julians on at Harbor Towne yesterday.

Yeah, that probably makes sense given the bimini structure of the X boats. I'll keep hunting for an AR/Limited 2018 cover.

OP, if you decide to find some time to box it and ship it, people pretty routinely sell them for about $200.
