Need help getting the correct bow roller for the trailer. Any idea what I should replace the standard bow roller with? I have read the one that comes with the trailer marks/scratches the boat.

should I pay for the galvanized trailer upgrade or stay with the included painted trailer without any additional fees? I believe the sales person said it was a 1,500 dollars updgrade. I will be in mostly lakes and a few times ocean.

@cjaysanchez , I too had this question recently as I am picking up my new 2020 195S this Saturday and had read the same thing. A few other members here shared that the bow roller to go with is a 3.5" roller for the 19" boats. I ordered the Stoltz below and it came in yesterday. Pretty fast shipping.

If you are going to be in salt water, I believe you'll want to get the galvanized trailer so it doesn't corrode.

One time in the ocean will start the destruction of the painted trailer. You cannot hose out the inside of the frame rails and it will rust from the inside out. You would need to be diligent in dunking the whole trailer in a fresh water lake after you use it in salt.

The galvanized trailer was a $400 option when I was buying. I only had the choice of the painted trailer, because the dealers order the boat/trailer as a package. My painted trailer is already rusting from just sitting outside. My last galvanized Seadoo trailer was 16 years old and looked brand new. Get the galvanized if you can.

This is the exact one I have for my 2020 195S and it works great.

I have the galvanized trailer for my boat and now that I think about it, was never given the option for the painted trailer. We're only an hour and half from the Jersey Shore, so I'm sure a large majority of the boats in my area are bought with the intent of salt. I personally don't plan on using ours in salt water, but it's nice to know I have one less thing to worry about if the wife convinces me to bring it along on vacation.
