Recently picked up a 2017 Yamaha 242XE with a Shorelandr trailer. Last trip out the actuator somehow partially locked the brakes while on the way home. I still had tire rotation, but the hubs on both sides were so hot, it popped the caps off spewed grease all over the wheels. Took everything apart and found a couple problems with corroded parts in the actuator. I plan on replacing the whole actuator and while I’m at it I’ll just do a full hub replacement on both axles as well as brakes on the rear.
Does anyone have part numbers for the correct actuator, hubs and beaks? I know generally speaking it’s easier to pull a hub and look for part numbers and/or measure but I’d rather not have my trailer on jack stands for however long it takes to get parts delivered. 3500# axles with disk brakes on the rear axle. I believe they are 10” disks.
Shorlandr has no way of being contacted. They’ve pushed their inquiries straight to dealers and they rarely answer the phone. E trailer says to call the dealer.
