Hi all,
Went out boating yesterday, had lots of fun at least till the end of the day.
In Hong Kong, we usually tow our speedboat behind and we do have a circulation valve installed while towing.
Last night, the boat boy forgot to open the valve before driving it back to the dry dock. Alarm went and still didn't notice the valve was close, (i.e overheated the engine) think exhaust burnt, water rushed in. Engine flooded.
The lucky thing is the dry dock management is kind enough to come back and lift it out of the water.
I've had similar experience with my SEADOO and I had the engine rebuilt.
Questions is, shall I rebuilt or just buy a new engine and swap it.
It's sea water .....
thx for any insight ......
