SiriusXM Radio Antenna Location

Has anyone installed satellite radio on their boat. Where did you mount the antenna? On the tower ?

I have an Onyx xm radio....I ran the antenna to the tower....had it on the dash and it kept cutting out.

Puck style or mast? My kit came with the 10” mast. I like the Terk puck, but twice the price

Mine is a small puck. I do confess that I didn't pull its wires through the tower (but don't tell anyone)

I went with the auxiliary hookup. Some say the bluetooth cuts out.

I thought I had read that the auxiliary hook up was only available with a Lorance, am I mistaken?
