Finally finished my satellite radio install. Didn't want to put a receiver into the dash, so settled for a suction cup attachment. I didn't use the antenna mast they sent with the receiver, opted for the puck style. I'm using the aux port, not bluetooth. Overall I'm happy with the setup for less than $300

Did you buy the receiver separate and then an install kit, or did it come all as one?

Dad gave me a receiver and subscription for the boat a few months ago. Supposedly it has one of the old "lifetime" subscriptions attached to the receiver, which is great. I need to get a mounting kit for it (came with a home kit), and get it installed in the boat.

Interesting - doesn't your head unit have a direct plug-in for sat radio?

They give you the the receiver and an antenna mast. All the cables are included. You can buy the same receiver with a bluetooth dock as well. I purchased the suction cup mount separate. It was less than $20.

Negative. You have to use bluetooth or the Aux port. I decided to use the Aux port to eliminate any teception issues.
