What ski mirror are you guys using for your Scarabs?

We have a 215 ID w/ wake tower on order, and would like to have a mirror before we need it next season.

So what’s the best set up with a reasonable price that you guys have found?

TY!!!

Does anyone has a suggestion witch Camera to use for a Waketower installation? I have the Medallion System and would like to use the Camera as a Ski-Mirror, not necessarily capturing the scene.

I have the same mirror. It is a great view. I find that I have had to tighten the pivot clamps a few times a year so it stays up at speed and over chop. Have you found the same? Been considering swaping for a the top end ptm edge that comes on the x models but that thing is pricey and I have other things I want to buy like another amp, tower speakers, and something to make my surf wave better (waiting to see what that JBP thing is before I make a decision there).

Yes, same thing. I actually over tightened the clamp at some point and it develpoeda crack. I expected it to fail. It was about a year ago. Still works perfect, and nobody knows it has a crack but me, lol.

Seriously though, for the money it would impossible to beat this one. And I like it on the opposite /passenger side. Been on serious wake boats, no one has better view really.
If I go to Bimini again, I would pull it of. It survived my hellish 2017 crossing with no issues though. I was impressed.

Would one of these cheap Chinese dash cams do what you want to do? I review products for some of these companies, and I bet they would do the job. I was surprised at the video quality, and I do believe the USB port can be used as a video output. I will check. But I'm sure there is one out there and most are under $50.

In states that mandate ski mirrors that would still necessitate a mirror but anything would do.
Even those Yamaha OEM mirrors for non X models, lol.
I think I still have mine somewhere, available for free if anyone wants it.

@Mainah when the time come remember who your fence is...
As matter of fact hopefully you make the call by end of April so you can bring that mirror with you in Chicago on May 4th. Anyway, we need to keep an eye on @swatski to make sure he is following and not waiting for the storm to get go started:eek:

Sounds like I’m gonna be a 2nd mate on that trip with @robert843 and @Andy S to captain my little mistress, the AR240. Lol. I’m fine with that!

Now, the real question is: can we teach @Betik how to spell “Saint Louis” or “St. Louis” before the trip? - it is Greek to him.
:D

LMAO I have been dyslectic for 38 years now. I would not hold my breath on me learning anything of that nature.

Thanks for the suggestion. I also thought about those Cams but am not sure, if the will deliver the needed quality. Also a comp out signal would be needed. Are there versions that are waterproof?
