On vacation and today we hooked two ski lines from the tower for the first time. Tomorrow we are gonna try three. Do y’all think that’s too much weight for the tower. Skiers are 150,150,180 lbs

I think the direct line pull from the tower is acceptable. Be cautious of getting too much pull from a single side though (i.e. all skiers on one side of the wake). The boat is far less stable when pulled from the side, and the tower gives an exceptionally long lever arm to pull from. Don't want to capsize the boat.

I think the other stresses involved are not high enough to warrant concern. Keep the skiers behind you and I think you'll be fine.

I know the spec for the swept forward tower in the newer boats is 350lbs so I don't know about your year boat/tower but it may be over spec and Yamaha lawyers would say "no, no", BUT in reality I personally wouldn't worry about doing that.
Having said that, the rope angle to the tower is not ideal for skiing, for skiing you want a more direct pull from the back of the boat so I'd use the ski tow hook on the back of the boat anyway - which also typically has a higher weight rating.

official spec for my 08 is 350lbs. Have pulled a wakeboard and a knee board at the same time with no issue though.

I was just curious. We were planning on spreading the weight-left,center,right. Thank you for the replies.
