Has anyone come across a cooler where the top slides back instead of lifting up? This would be handy on the FSH as I would not have to drag the damn thing out to get into it.

How about the soft sided ones that zip open? I had a Hopper but didn't like that it didnt open very much, but others swear by it....I figured their cooler was perhaps stocked with one flavor? :-)

Call me old fashioned, but I like the hard coolers. I think I will invent a sliding top and patent it. :)

Pullcoolers.com is the closest I’ve seen to your idea. But it’s a sliding drawer.

(Patent pending)

But why not just use cooler slides?

Cooler slides are cool but damn things cost more than most coolers that would fit and then the extra height added won’t fit
