Solar powered dockside washdown setup--anyone built one?

Has anyone built a dockside washdown setup using solar power? I'm looking into it now but not sure what pump type, battery setup I might need. I know I probably need 800-1000 GPH pump, preferably submersible, that will allow enough pressure for a hose. The solar side/battery set up would depend on the pump requirements, it seems, but I'm thinking about maybe doing a small DC power station for lighting, pumping, etc. but not really sure. I don't' really want to buy a kit, I'd rather put it together on my own.

Grundfos Pumps, makes a complete pump set up for what you are looking for. It's called the SQ Flex, it can be run off solar, battery, or 110AC. They sell all the components to make it work. Pump, Solar panels, control boxes.

I have put together several high powered / high volume electric water fins using wash down pumps, some were kits (like the one pictured) some built from scratch. Mine were contained in battery boxes and a rolling cooler and were powered by a 12v waverunner battery. I never charged the battery with a solar panel but believe I could have easily done so.

If I were to build one in a permanent dock station I would probably go with full sized deep cycle 12v battery and the biggest wash down pump I could afford. The kits usually come with a 3 to 4 gpm but I’ve seen 7 and 8 gpm pumps for twice the price of the kit just for the pump.
