Got a good price and they were cash, but they were coming from iowa and want to move in by the 31st! It was part of the negotiations so now i am finding storage and moving in with the in laws. For almost a month! And that's assuming the appraisal comes in ok!
Not only that, but they don't have internet! I may move my account to their house for a month while i am there. Computer is going to be pretty important switching bill addresses and such around, twice.

Yes but i was an idiot and went to tmobile to try and save money an i only get 1 ig per phone of 4g! Then it drops to 2g speeds. May as well not use it! That is their version of unlimited.
At least i can post here!

Finding a place for the boat may have worked out though. Brother in law and sister in law are going through a divorce which leavea half the garage open!

Well, just got a call from realtor, and she says that the homeowners i am purchasing from can't be out by my closing date of January 25 so i will be collecting $200 a day for at least 2 weeks after that! We will see, but staying at the in laws is gonna stink so maybe at that point we go to a hotel or something. Maybe the appraisal will come in short of my offer and i will use that as negotiations as well. Goodness, even with my house sold this thing is far from done!

Moving out seems to be going super slow since i am at work and my wife is still babysitting at home so we are hoping for me to actually have a Saturday off to grt this work done!

So if someone buys your house in cash, why do you need an appraiser? I thought that was only necessary if there is a loan involved, because the lender wants to make sure he is not giving you more money than the house is worth...

I would think if I was buying in cash I would want appraisal for the same thing, make sure I wasn't paying too much.
