My project today was to Plasti Dip the stock ugly silver grey wheels on my AR192 trailer. 1 can of black and 1 can of glosser did the trick. I am super impressed with this stuff.

First step was to take the wheels off and clean them. Then I put 5 coats of black, each about 20 mins apart. Followed by 4 coats of glosser.

Plasti Dip is a spray rubber coating that can be peeled off if it gets damaged or if you don't like the look. That's what I like the best. There are all sorts of colors too. In fact I have seen youtube videos of people doing their entire cars and it honestly looks good. And holds up to scrubbing and pressure washing.

$15 and a couple of hours and a whole new look! What do you think?

Thanks Tim! That MIGHT be the cheapest mod I perform this spring once I can get her out of storage :) Looks great!! Any chance of getting a picture of the entire boat to get the "full" effect?

I assume you just taped off the tires?

I took the wheels off and only taped the valve stem off. In fact the glossifier I used on the wheels, I actually sprayed the whole tire. I'm hoping that its permanent armorall!

Looks good.
