Its a relatively new lake built on clay, so the water is never clear...that is the downside. As for quality of the water, NC is struggling with pollution laws right now...hopefully we figure it out, but there is too much fertilizer run off which causes algae growth (which is why my boat is on a lift!). But in general the water quality is decent....the beaches only close if there is a "caddyshack" incident (floating baby ruth bars anyone?) LOL

I'm sorry I missed you guys yesterday. I was out on Falls with some of my buddies yesterday (10:00 - 2:30), with our first pass at surfing (stock). Everyone got up - next step is ballast to get off of the rope.

Nice! If you want to borrow a couple of my ballast bags let me know...I've been wakeboarding lately....I have 4 Aerial bags (2-350s, and 2-550s).
