I'm not liking the treatment I am getting at the local dealer (MM). Does anyone know of a stocking dealer in the Southeast that isn't a big "conglomerate"? Trying to buy a 255. They are making it hard!
Performance East in Goldsboro NC. They just picked up the Wellcraft line this year. Great to deal with. If NC is an option for you, let me know and I'll put you in touch with someone
I am not sure why everyone's talking about Wellcraft? Scarab Jet Boats are not made by Wellcraft they are made by REC BOAT HOLDING, LLC. and they bought out the SeaDoo Jet Boat line. @Owen87 were are you located? Are you trying to deal with MarineMax? @ScarabMike is our Scarab Forum Lead and he might be able to point you in the right direction
Ya know- this day and age, most of a purchase/transaction can be handled online. I wouldn't rule out any dealer in the Southeast. I have just had a hard time dealing with the sales dept at MM. I already know what I want, I just don't need this high pressure "we gotta do it TODAY" crap over and over and over. Trying to use the dealer locator won't let me eliminate MM from the dealer list. So- I'm open to suggestions, and ready to jet!
What is a good number to shoot for? 10% over invoice? I'm not sure how the new boat world works. I do know that the guy was wanting tax returns and all kinds of other stuff to "shop" financing for 50% of the boat... That had me nervous
