I decided to protect our expensive tower speakers with covers from SpeakerSox. They fit nice & tight, easy on & off, 20150614_192047.jpg 20150614_192106.jpg 20150614_192021.jpg 20150614_192001.jpg 20150614_191944.jpg they are washable & you can leave them on while trailering. For the price, I think these will be some cheap insurance.

They look great!

Where did you get them / how much?

Looks good @bmb5150 I have a set for my speakers too.

Seems kinda pricey. I only paid $75 for my Rockford fosgate covers and they are custom fit with zippers and Velcro.
Did you look for your brands own covers?

I have the JL Audio and yes they have them but are around $200. Williamsone46 has them on his and they are really nice but I could not bring myself to spend that much. SpeakerSox seemed to be the only company I could find that makes these covers. I would agree that the neoprene covers would be better but, more expensive. I feel having something protecting these expensive speakers is better than nothing at all. By the way, nice boat. How are you liking it ?

I agree you need to have something on them. $200 is nuts for speaker covers.

I've have Speaker Sox. They are pricy, but they are custom fit for my speakers and the work great. i am not handy enough with a sewing machine to make my own. Nothing on them to scratch a speaker can with and for me the biggest benefit is keeping bugs and spiders out of the speaker themselves.
