So what else is everyone buying up to prep for the season? Aside from a new boat and 2 new skis, I've picked up/ordered:

New boards for the boat trailer bunks + carpet, staples, hardware, pneumatic staple gun
CE Smith LED lit 60" guide poles and covers
New LED trailer wiring kit with lights
Anchor buddy (SBA came with boat)
Ram mounts to put a plotter on the ski
Bluetooth amp, speakers, and cans for one of the skis
Spare tire + mount for ski trailer
New matching life vests
Oil change/spark plug kits for the boat
Various dock lines/trailer tie downs
PWC fenders
Yamaha covers for the skis
Wetsuits so we can use em now
And every evening I seem to find something else I need...

The good news is, I think I can claim Amazon and Etrailer as dependents on my tax return next year. How you doin?

Fusion ud750 radio... 4 wet sounds 6.5 inch replacement speakers.... 4 led rings.... led wires..... led controller....... seadek matting...... fiberglass repair to the hull..... oh and a new aluminum I beam trailer. Sigh that should be enough but I want more.... I think I have a problem!

A lot more automation to my ballast system already ordered, new impellers and wear ring housing getting ready to be ordered. Going to need a new cover this year and I plan on getting a wake board. Also should get my YDS today!!! Last thing I need to order is my trailer guide pylon covers and my oil change pump. Of course new oil changes and plugs before the first cruise.

Yes, what boat did you buy?

Seadoo challenger look like from his sig. I think I seen a pic also.

Starting from the Seadek group buy:

-Full Seadek cockpit and swim platform.
-(4) Wetsounds REV 10's with led rings
-(2) Wetsounds SD2 amplifiers
-(1) Wetsounds SD6 amplifier
-an a$$ load of new wire and connectors

On the way:
-speaker suits for the REV 10's
-Wetsounds XXX V2 sub
-new premium mooring cover
-(3) Deka group 29 batteries
-new shore charger (to be determined)

Did my major sound system upgrade + Seadek + in-boat charging +++ last year. $$$ and, more importantly, family patience level dictate a much more restrained 2016 mod season.

I finally decided to get the EZ Locks from @Cobra Jet Steering LLC a few weeks ago. Coincidentally, the Ultimates were on sale, so I decided to upgrade to those from my original Cobra Jet Steering system. Now I just have to wait out these winter storm warnings, etc. to get a crack at installing my new goodies.

Should I tell u is going to be in the 70s all this week?

my buy's have been of the boring to some variety. But for me, anything for the boat is a happy buy....
Pela 650 oil extractor
Need to buy still - oil, filters and plugs for spring changes.

New registration numbers (got the boat last year and took all summer for Illinois to assign). Bought them from domed numbers, and got the Chaparral font in Chrome . http://shop.domednumbers.com/product/chaparralchrome

Summer get here! Was 62 in Chicago area Sunday. Last night and today we are getting about 6 inches of snow. 10 day forecast has 50's all next week!! So, getting close!

Just ordered:
stoltz bow roller
keelguard
gelcoat repair kit
boat hook
corrosion block spray
vinyl cleaner/proctectant
silicone caulk

Fun stuff I want:
HO sports RAD+ if I ever see it on sale
wakesurfer
wakeboard

@cozilla - yup! That pic is my old one, and I did buy Dirks. Haven't picked it up yet, probably one day this week. I'll likely make a post about it this weekend.

Installed seadeck today. Last week installed new JL amps and cabin speakers and larger sub. Rev8 towers. Added LEDs to the JL cabin speakers. image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

I bought in the last week 3 pairs of Polk db651, a flare kit, oil extractor, Stoltz Bow Roller, spark plugs, 14 SS bolts for fuel compartment, ICOM M73 Radio, Rule 800 rpm automatic bilge pump. Still need HU, and replacement mount for bilge pump. I am also planning on adding a battery with ACR and Low Voltage Disconnect, LED's and a Bimini.

Recently bought the Garmin 741XS chart plotter. Going to add VHF radio and finish my add a battery kit soon.
