St. Louis Gatherings

Shelbyville is pretty close and the biggest of all of the gatherings.

A lot on the river !!!! Sandbar 521 !!!!

There's a lot of us in STL. Lots of folks hang out on the river in St. Charles and I've done that a few times. It's always a good time but I prefer the lakes.

To answer your question, other than Shelbyville there are no other regular gatherings, although I hope we can add Table Rock to the list. We had a mini gathering there this year and had a blast.

Mark Twain is another lake we go to often. We'll have to get together and convoy up there some time!

Speaking of gatherings is anyone going to 521 this weekend?

@RampRage I wish I could but I have some honey do list I need to knock out this weekend. Did you get the tower mounted yet

@sstegh next year when you decide to go to Mark Twain let us know please.

@Mike Coultas when you go to Table Rock Lake what area do you normally stay in?

@sstegh We try and mix it up when going to Table Rock. Stayed in the Indian Point area this year and last year was Kimberling City area. When going to Mark Twain always put in at Ray Behrans. Hoping to make it to MT this Sunday if the weather holds out.

@Mike Coultas have you had your boat on Lake St Louis? Years ago my wife and I lived there but never did get on the lake, or see to many boats on there. It was always dirty with lots of snakes. We lived over by the country club

@Mike Coultas - we keep our boat at Indian Creek Marina on Mark Twain and we are usually up there at least 3 weekends a month. Let us know when you are headed up and we can meet up.

We've been there a thousand times, how did we miss you....

Not sure!! We are usually headed either over to the south fork bridge to surf or wakeboard or we are over at the beach letting the kids play.

Heading up there today to have it winterized and put away for the year.....Next year we should work on getting a "Yamaha Gathering" at the MTL.

We have ours back at our house and getting ready to head out on the river. We are calling it our booze cruise and heading to Alton Marina and then taking a taxi to Fast Eddies for food and drink. Hope it warms up a little!! It will get winterized tomorrow or Monday then it goes inside for its long winter nap!!

I like the idea of getting a gathering up at MTL!

Usually a bunch of St. Louis folk get together in some fashion for the boat show too. At least its something to hold us over until boating season again!
