I have a 2014 212SS and the starboard mid cleat was loose. I tried the crawling in the storage area behind the captains seat only to find out I'm to fat to fit. Looked at coming in from the area below the dashboard, yep to fat to fit. Read on line if you pull the throttle body out you may be able to get to it. No luck as I'm not gumby.
I was at a point I either take it to a dealer to have a stupid nut tighten or I resort to maybe cutting a hole. The hole is the route I decided to go. BUT, I found out that the factory is kind enough to give me a hole already. Just pull off the metal plate. You know the one with weight limits and number of people allowed in the boat. yeah that plate which is held on with 4 rivets. I drilled them out and found the perfect hole behind the plate for tightening that crazy starboard mid cleat.
