Started it up today in the garage and a check engine warning came up. I never let it run for more than 15 seconds or so without water. This light came on immediately after start up??20210220_180531.jpg

Dang everytime I flush my motor I have the jetboatpilot cover in my connext screen so I never get to see any message. But if I were you I'd check the oil level and I also see your battery level is low, fully charge it before starting see if the message still appears.

Agreed on the low battery charge state, get that thing on a trickle charge...no excuse being in the garage already!

I just had it out 4 weeks ago it's got under 10 hours on it. I'll check oil and battery. Thanks!

Oil is fine and battery is fine. Not sure what's wrong and closest dealer is 120 miles away. Kinda concerned because below check engine it says stop engine and see dealer. So much for taking it out tomorrow.

Did you try starting it again?

Yes I did. Light comes on immediately.
Only 3 things could cause that message, oil, High Temp and engine issue. You already eliminated oil and high temp since its not been running for a long time. If you are handy, check and make sure all spark plug cable are not loose, you just need to remove top cover to do that.

@Ibeflyinhigh when you get the message again, hold the settings button at the top right for 3 seconds. This will display a new menu where you can click “engine” and see more information on the fault.
Showing oxc1 code. Do you know what that is? Would it be safe to run it for the day?

I got this from another thread, probably worth checking.

**Update [HASH=3848]#2*[/HASH]*

Was able to clear the Check Engine warning. For newer boat owners like me the mistake I made may save you some headache. If you park your boat in a driveway with a slope, DO NOT perform the flush procedure in the driveway. While aggressively searching for solutions with no luck, I decided to try and clear the exhaust system of possible water that may have not totally cleared after last flush and sure enough when I advanced the throttle a bunch of water blew out. I trailored the boat back on a level surface and repeated this a few more times until all water was cleared. Shortly after the engine warning cleared. Still almost a month before I can get it looked at by dealer.

Looks like this is it, same code the TS have OXC1 - ended up as defective battery. Bad news is only dealer can clear the damn fault code :(
Maybe it will eventually clear in time? Either way sounds like I'm safe to run the boat. Thanks for all the info and help. For now I'll just ignore the code as i dont want to drive 2 hours and sit at the dealer for who knows how long.

Just watch engine temp and oil level. You can also manually check engine temp by touching the water outlet on the side of the boat that drips, it should be warm to the touch and tolerable to your hands even for long period of time.

EDIT: If I were you i'd also bring battery jumper brick

When you started the boat, what was the voltage reading on the screen? With my engines off my battery voltage isn't that low. With the engines running its always over 13 at least.

That is a pretty low battery....some charts would put 11.9 in the red at 20%...the one below is more generous.

When it was running it was like 12.6
I just picked the boat up end of December the battery is only a few months old. I put it on a trickle charge overnight and unhooked the cables 7 times the light keeps coming back on. The 11.9 volts in the picture was with key on but engine off.
Also just to note I've had the boat out twice since picking it up.
