Starting

It seems my boat does not realize it's in neutral and will not turn over. Battery post cleaned! Light, gauges all cycle normally but when I try to start either engine nothing for maybe 10-15 tries and then wham it will start after I fiddle with everything. Any advice??

Is your safety lanyard hooked on?

Yes. I think it is the throttle linkage but I do not know how to adjust it.

Push the button at the base of your throttle .. it alows u to start the motor while adding gas to start the engine.

Sounds like the neutral lock out.....did you try wiggling the throttles back and forth into neutral and retrying? (@bronze_10 not sure Scarabs have the button to release the gate controls like SOME Yamahas do-but not all).

It is an electronic fuel injected twin engine boat and I don't think it will allow me to bypass but I'm not sure
