Are there any tricks to rigging the string on the AR 230? It seems it turns further in One Direction than the other.

Yes center your steering wheel with the 2 nozzles disconnected from the steering cables then hold a straight edge across both nozzle openings at the same time so they are even and then readjust the cable ends back to the nozzles

Thank you I will definitely do that. However, the steering wheel still turns further to the right than it does to the left from center.

With the cables disconnected from the nozzles turn the wheel all the way to the right and place a piece of tape on top of it then turn it all the way to the left and place a piece of tape on top of it then bring the center between those 2 pieces of tape to the top and place a price of tape there leave that in position , secure the wheel and readjust the cables to meet the nozzles Your wheel should have about 1/4 turn full right and full left from that center piece of tape.

That’s a great tip! Thank you!!!!!

I have a single engine and the clevis on the steering cable is roughly 23 turns to engine center. As @Cobra Jet Steering LLC said, try to balance it out by taping the wheel. Did you just notice this for a first time or it’s always been that way?

I removed the steering wheel to facilitate other maintenance. Upon installation I discovered the difference.
