Steering wandering or chiming! 1999 Customwel 19 fr with 5.7 .

Hello, I installed a 5.7 injected v8 in my 19 foot customweld viper. Since then at 30 to 35 mph the boat starts to chime walk both left and right. I’ve installed trim tabs trying to resolve this issue but it didn’t change the wandering. Any advice would be appreciated since it can become dangerous. The 4.3 v8 I previously I had in the boat didn’t seem to cause this situation. I’ve been told my 5.7 is just too much engine for a 19 ft boat!! But there are a lot of 19 ft boats out there with v8!! Help please!! Thank you!!
