Hello, has anyone removed the stern deck radio button selector and filled that hole with something else? Just looking for ideas. Thanks

Yes. A kenwood rca-rc55mr remote to replace the original. One of the original mounting holes is still visible. Part of my stereo upgrade when I change it out for all Kenwood as in my signature below.

I made a "plate" and put a 12v plug in it.

That chrome looks good. Is that a Yamaha part or just a piece you found to cover that hole?
 
It's a leg mount. Table or Grill is attached for extra pleasure.
 
Is that compatible with the Yamaha table legs?
I think so. I have never used my table on the back. I got it just cause it covers the hole with a little help from a aluminum plate behind it
