Has anyone ever made a fiberglass dome shape sub enclosure? I'e researched all over but can' seem to find one. Was wanting to fab for my boat and seal 2 12s that are on each gunwall. A dome is shape that I could 5200 to backside of gunwall. Any input?

I found a bunch of diy build videos. This is one of the first that popped up. If you have a router or band saw you could mere the rings pretty easily. Then glass it all.

Yea I looked at quite a few of these, but could never find a dome style. Wondering if its not a recommended shape?

You can make any type of enclosure that you want. While some might argue about acoustic properties and the shape of the enclosure - for 99.9% of people it does not matter... just make sure you get enough airspace.
