In 07 with my 06 I sucked a rope. People i was with threw the rope off the back. Today.....i didn't double check the newbies with me today and started engine sucking rope. The boys got to learn how to untangle a rope in a port hole.....where's my trophy @Bruce ....lol

^^That's the good part. Teach those kiddos that mistakes are OK to make - just know how to fix them. Enroll those boys into M.I.T (men in training).
Don't cry over spilled milk - clean up your mistake and learn what happened to avoid it next time. Old manager used to call it "Controlled Chaos"

Yup....I anchored down calm cove...took them less than a hour....lol...I supervised
 
Misery loves company. If it makes you feel better, I saw an i/o wrap a tow rope up around their prop yesterday.
 
I try to suck up a rope at least once a season, just to keep in practice untangling it...
