Sucked up Rope, damage??

I sucked up my first rope and after much work getting it off, it appears the end rubber sleeve got strangled, (see photo) is that okay? 215 Impulse HO, with twin 200's

I didnt see that. Looks like part of the nose cone got messed up. Yea I would get that checked. Sorry man.
 
I tore my seal up this weekend too, you'll want to replace it or water will get into the impeller and driveshaft.
