Hi! I just purchased a 7inch simrad cruise plotter. I saw on another post where someone used a suction cup mount or their installation of a plotter.

many use a suction cup mount? That would fit a 7inch screen?

thanks!

Unless this is a temporary use, do not bother with a suction cup. Get a ram mount and set it up properly. And with the ram ball and arm combination, you will still have the ability to move it around if needed.

Don't risk an expensive piece of equipment on a suction cup, when the transducer is a permanent install anyway.

Good luck!

Try mounts by seasucker - good stuff

I’ve been using a sea sucker mount for my plotter since I got it about 3 years ago. Works great.
there’s no way that thing is coming off. You should watch some of the demo videos on their website.
