Hi all,

Just starting to get boat ready for the southern hemisphere summer. Have done ribbon delete (PITA to get to) and put in a riva air filter. Did oil change as well.
Just wondering how much of the greasing do people do who do their own maintenance? The service manual recomends doing a whole heap every 12 months. Do people stick to the recomendations religously or are a bit slacker?

Cheers

Martyn

What are your engine hours? Honestly there's not a whole lot to lube on these boats and trailer, especially for the single engine boats so not sure what you mean.

I grease once a year on the pump bearings and once on the trailer bearings.
Make sure you use a marine grease.

I also try and grease the connector cables at the stern at every opportunity I can......to help prevent water intrusion into the cable ends.
