Sumo Tube Towable?

So my buddy and I thought it would be a great idea to use the Sumo Tube at his bachelor party last year. After a few of us got water boarded for about 10 seconds, we decided it was a horrible idea. We were using the lower tow point and not the tower. Does anyone have any experience with this product and able to give advise?

Someone posted about using one a couple of weeks ago. It seriously looks like a drowning hazard.
