I'm looking for a switch/knob to turn the tower speakers on/off when we want. Curious if anyone has any switch recommendations?

Thanks guys! Just what I needed!!!

I have 3 as well. 1 tower speakers, 1 for my 2 subs and 1 in my cooler lol

So, I must have went a little bit unconventional. I simply routed all the boat speakers to the "front" channel off of the headunit, and wired all the tower speakers to the "rear" channel.

Meaning, if I want all of the speakers on I simply adjust the F/R to 0, and if I only want boat speakers then I adjust to F +15, R -15. And vice versa for only tower speakers.

It was free...not much of a headache to re-wire either...

That's just what I did @MrWizard This way everything is still controlled through the conext screen.

Maybe one of these days I'll have one of those new-fangled Yamaha boats with the Conext controls...until then I need to stay away from the Yamaha dealer and all boat shows. Too tempting.
How do you like the Conext, out of curiosity...?

Well so far so good. Its nice to have everything on one screen but I worry if there is an issue with the screen that everything is on one screen!

Yes - you can do that. But I didn't want to fumble thru menus to get to the fader control option - I wanted them immediately at my fingertips. And you have more control with each zone being controlled independently.
And my wife doesn't screw up all the settings trying to lower the volumes. And I don't have to get out of the water to turn it up when my daughters "jam" comes on.

Yeah I like that idea with the stereo but I use my knobs so much I wore them out! I wanted to get the WS equalizer but my boats already wired so I wasn't going to do that.

I plan on taking the same route and using the fader, seems to be the most simple!

I used the fader for 2 years through the headunit and it was a pain to have to go into the menu every time to change which speakers I wanted music to play out of. The 2 zone knob I put in is so much easier.

I plan on using my 'system' for this summer, and if I really get sick of it then I figure I'll just buy an amp and be able to look back on this post for ideas. Win, win all around...:):thumbsup::)

That would be my biggest concern as well...
