Sx190/192 Bucket seats

Anyone swap out the buckets in a 190/192 with better seats? I would really like a set of the seats from a 242 with adjustable arm rests.

I imagine it would be hard to fit those seats in a 190/192. I'm pretty sure they are much larger than the seats in the 19 footers.

I was trying to find an aftermarket solution that reclines. Do they make a tilt base I could mount to the stock seat so it can tilt back? Yamaha wants way too much for their seats.

They do make reclining buckets. I just found them on https://www.wholesalemarine.com for under 500.

Would that seat attach to our base? It certainly looks more comfy than the Yamaha seat.

You would probably need to fabricate an adapter or change the pedistal

Everyone should not that there is not a flip up bolster on that seat. That would be a no go for me.

The base can be changed to telescopic so no bolster would be needed.
